Vocal instruction and performance; radio show scripting, production, and narration; voiceover and translation.




Gudrun holds a teaching credential in English and French and has also studied German and Spanish. As a singer, she has found this education invaluable. She studied voice with Margaret Sheldon and Vismaya Lhi, both established sopranos and instructors in San Francisco. Her thorough exposure to the classical masters and their works is largely to be attributed to friend and vocal coach Tom Herman.
Performances include classical recitals and solos with piano accompaniment of arias, art songs, and lieder at various Bay Area and Methow Valley locations; folk and show tunes, pop and country hits in shows with pre-recorded accompaniment at various locations in the Bay Area; regular performances as part of the duo "Gudrun and Auri," mostly in Half Moon Bay, CA. In the Valley, she has performed with Suzanne Johnson, Terry Hunt, and on her own at The Fabulous Fall Follies, Musicians of the Methow, and at the Wedding from Hell. Most recently, she performed with madrigal quartet Goode Companye and at at the St. Patrick celebration at the Twisp Brew Pub with the group Cruisc

"The Woman in Black" Gudrun's brain child, is her first serious work for radio. The show aired weekly from March 2002 through September 2003 on KVLR, Twisp and has had occasional airings on Spokane's KPBX. The concept sprang from Gudrun's love of macabre tales old and new and her belief that good radio adventures shouldn't be consigned to the past. A definite benefit for Cascadia in hiring Gudrun as project coordinator was to get her partner, Rob Gretzner, on board. Together, they have presented many food collaborations to events year-round.
