Digital still photographer, cinematographer, and film/video production consultant.
I have spent the last 50 years operating some type of camera or another.
It all began in Butte, Montana, in the early 1950's with a Kodak Tourist 620 camera, continued through the 1960's in the U.S. Army Signal Corps where I was the honor graduate in the Motion Picture School, into civilian life where I attended and assisted at Ansel Adams Workshops in Yosemite, California. I exhibited large format black & white photographs at art galleries in Seattle and Yosemite. |
I worked for 40 years in television filming commercial production and documentaries many of which earned awards including Emmys and a Peabody Award. Individually, I was honored with the Silver metal in the International Monitor Awards for cinematography.
Today, I am recently retired, living in the Methow Valley, and still operating a camera. I now work in digital acquisition and printing with a Kodak DCS 14N camera. And, I haven't forgotten all I have learned in the past 50 years, maintain an active interest in all areas of still and moving picture images and am always willing to share my experience and knowledge as a consultant. |
