I am a watercolorist who loves to paint portraits, whether it be faces of flowers, people ,animals or birds.I also love to sculpt faces and the human form in clay. With clay I get to play with form and sculpt portraits in 3-dimensions, which can then be cast into bronze. I am passionate about color. My watercolors are full of intense color and I often use this medium in a detailed way.

I am a realist. I paint what I see and emphasize a beautiful quality that I find in the subject. Mary Lu is available to do commissioned paintings and portraits and bronzes.
