Though art has interested me most of my life, I did not seriously pursue it until retirement. Mostly self taught, my main inspiration has come from nature’s shapes, whether it be the garden or sweep of mountains viewed from my home in Winthrop, Washington. Color is my artistic appetite and twenty-five years of mountaineering have sharpened that inspiration.
I use acrylics, oils, and oil pastels on hardboard hardboard, canvas & 300lb. Arches watercolor paper
Currently, my work appears at the Confluence Gallery in Twisp, Washington.
